Above is a photo without Kelp, which also shows that there is no sea life.
Help the Kelp's goal is to spread awareness of the depletion of kelp forests due to global warming, and to educate the public on how important the kelp forest is in the underwater ecosystem.
What is Kelp?
"Kelp are large brown algae that live in cool, relatively shallow waters close to the shore" (What is a kelp forest?).
What kinds of animals live in the Kelp Forest?
"A host of invertebrates, fish, marine mammals, and birds exist in kelp forest environs" (Kelp Forests-a Description).
"California sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters, and whales may feed in the kelp or escape storms or predators in the shelter of kelp" (Kelp Forests-a Description).
